[Covid-19]: SC extends bail to intermediary, as principal accused has already been enlarged on bail

The SC on April 17, 2020 {OM SINGH v. THE STATE OF RAJASTHAN } held that on consideration of the fact that the principal accused has been granted bail on 6th March, 2020 albeit on ground of lack of sanction, and the petitioner is a broker, it is of the view that the petitioner is also entitled to bail. 

It was, however, directed by the Bench, comprising of Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul & Justice B. R. Gavai, that the petitioner will co-operate in expeditious trial of the matter and will not make any endeavour to influence the witnesses.

With aforesaid directions, petition was disposed of by the SC.
