The Supreme Court in the case titled as "Sh. Hanumant Dinkar Arjun Vs. Suresh", did not interfere with the orders of the courts below by which prayer to initiate criminal case against the IO was declined by the courts below, as the judgment of the session court is pending adjudication in appeal before the High Court.

In the said case, certain observations were made by the Session Court regarding the conduct of the Police Officer. On that basis the petition was made for initiation of criminal case against the IO.
